   Solution

   Bereken eerst zelf het gemiddelde van y: $\frac{(10+12+10+14+8+10+7+9)}{8} = \frac{80}{8} = 10$.

   Vul vervolgens per proefpersoon de laatste kolom in. Bijvoorbeeld voor proefpersoon 1: $(11-11.5-10+10)^{2} = -0.5^{2} = 0.25$.

   Als je dit doet voor alle proefpersonen krijg je (toevallig) 0.25 als waarde voor elke persoon. De som hiervan is $0.25 \times 8 = 2$.
